1. General
By purchasing products through maksimalists.com, you enter into a Distance Contract governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet Regulation No. 255 on Distance Contracts.
2. Placing an Order
Product prices and specifications are displayed on each product page. To place an order, add items to your cart, complete all required fields, and select your preferred delivery method. The total cost including shipping will be shown before you confirm your order. Your order is confirmed upon successful payment.
3. Payment
All transactions are processed in Euros (EUR). Payments are handled by Maksekeskus AS via makecommerce.lv. We accept the following payment methods:
- Latvian internet banking: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor
- Estonian internet banking: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor
- Lithuanian internet banking: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor
- Visa / Mastercard
When paying via internet banking, please confirm your order and click "Return to merchant" to complete the transaction.
If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, you will be notified and refunded within 14 days.
4. Shipping
We ship to Latvia, Europe, and the United States. Orders are delivered via Omniva parcel lockers and other carriers. Delivery times:
- Latvia: 2–7 business days
- Europe and USA: up to 14 business days
In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 45 calendar days — we will notify you if this applies to your order. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout. Any customs duties or taxes at the destination are the buyer's responsibility.
5. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without providing a reason. This right applies to individual consumers only (not legal entities).
To exercise this right, items must be unused and in their original condition. If items are damaged, improperly used, or returned without original packaging, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount accordingly.
To initiate a return, please contact us at hei@maksimalists.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned within 14 days of submitting your withdrawal request.
Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility, except in cases where the item is incorrect or damaged.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method.
6. Non-Conforming Goods
We are responsible for any product defects or non-conformity that existed at the time of delivery or becomes apparent within 6 months of delivery. Please notify us within 2 months of discovering any defect by contacting hei@maksimalists.com. We will respond in writing within 15 days.
If a defective product cannot be repaired or replaced, a full refund will be issued.
7. Personal Data
We process only the personal data necessary to fulfil your order (name, email, delivery address, etc.). Data is shared with delivery providers solely for shipping purposes. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
If you have consented to marketing communications, we may occasionally send you updates about our products and offers. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting hei@maksimalists.com.
8. Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve any disputes through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with Latvian law and may be submitted to:
- The Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia
- A Latvian court of law
- The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
